Crown after root canal treatment

CROWN  AFTER  RCT

Root canal treatment involves cleaning the tooth and removing infected pulp tissue from the tooth.

After root canal treatment there is no nutrient supply to the tooth, the tooth becomes brittle, and there is high risk of fracture, so it is mandatory to go for a crown after root canal treatment to be used as a normal tooth.
