Smile correction with dental implants and bridges.

A young lady came to our clinic with pain in upper front teeth region and complains of gap between the bridge and natural teeth in upper front teeth region. she is unhappy with her smile.

On clinical examination, there was periapical abscess in upper front tooth and there were 2 congenitally missing upper front teeth.

On radiographic examination we found out that the teeth which were supporting the bridge were not endodontically treated and there was periapical cyst in one of the teeth.

we suggested her to go for removal of infected tooth along with cyst enucleation and root canal treatment of other teeth and replacement of the missing teeth with implants and acrylic provisional bridge for the first 3 months followed by zirconia bridges.
