MOUTH WASHES

MOUTH WASHES

Mouthwash is a great way to freshen breath and keep gums healthy, but they should not be used on a regular basis, unless it is prescribed by a dentist.

PURPOSE OF MOUTHWASH :
  1. Ulcer
  2. Foul smell
  3. Gum problems
  4. Stained Teeth

TYPES:

  1. Alcoholic
  2. Non-alcoholic

CONSEQUENCES OF ALCOHOLIC MOUTH WASH:

  1. Loss of taste sensation
  2. Dry mouth
  3. Stains on the teeth
Based on the purpose, mouth washes are prescribed. So, mouthwashes should not be used without your dentist's advice. Mouth washes when used on a long term basis without dentist's advice may cause several complications.

BEST MOUTH WASH - WARM SALT WATER

    How to Use Mouthwash ?

    1. Start by pouring the right amount out of the bottle, we recommend that you use 15ml of oral rinse.
    2. Rinse vigorously for 30 seconds, making sure that the mouth wash comes into contact with all areas of your teeth.
    3. Gargle for 30-60 seconds, in order to ensure that your mouthwash can deal with bacteria at the back of the tongue.
    4. Spit out the mouth wash.
    5. To avoid food and water for 30 mins.

CONCLUSION

Mouthwash is a great tool to help you get better teeth, but using mouthwash alone does not replace the value and effectiveness of a full oral health routine. A proper oral health routine includes brushing your teeth for two minutes at a time twice per day and flossing once per day to clean the hard-to-reach areas of your teeth.
