MOUTH WASHES
Mouthwash is a great way to freshen breath and keep gums healthy, but they should not be used on a regular basis, unless it is prescribed by a dentist.
PURPOSE OF MOUTHWASH :
- Ulcer
- Foul smell
- Gum problems
- Stained Teeth
TYPES:
- Alcoholic
- Non-alcoholic
CONSEQUENCES OF ALCOHOLIC MOUTH WASH:
- Loss of taste sensation
- Dry mouth
- Stains on the teeth
Based on the purpose, mouth washes are prescribed. So, mouthwashes should not be used without your dentist's advice. Mouth washes when used on a long term basis without dentist's advice may cause several complications.
BEST MOUTH WASH - WARM SALT WATER
- Start by pouring the right amount out of the bottle, we recommend that you use 15ml of oral rinse.
- Rinse vigorously for 30 seconds, making sure that the mouth wash comes into contact with all areas of your teeth.
- Gargle for 30-60 seconds, in order to ensure that your mouthwash can deal with bacteria at the back of the tongue.
- Spit out the mouth wash.
- To avoid food and water for 30 mins.
How to Use Mouthwash ?
CONCLUSION
Mouthwash is a great tool to help you get better teeth, but using mouthwash alone does not replace the value and effectiveness of a full oral health routine. A proper oral health routine includes brushing your teeth for two minutes at a time twice per day and flossing once per day to clean the hard-to-reach areas of your teeth.
